Reservation details:
· Rates are exclusive of taxes and fees
· A valid conference registration is needed to reserve a room at the attendee rate in the conference block
· Group rate available three days pre and three days post event, based on hotel’s availability.
· Rooms in the conference block will include complimentary Wi-Fi in guestrooms and public areas
· All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card.
· Rooms may be cancelled up 48 hours prior to check-in with no penalty.
· Reservations cancelled within less than 48 hours to arrival will be charged a non-refundable fee of one night’s room and tax fee

Pulbic Issues Leadership Development Conference

PILD is open to all Extension professionals in 1862, 1890, and 1994 institutions. We invite you to learn and practice leadership skills, meet federal partners, and explore national priorities and funding streams.
The full PILD registration includes both the virtual and in-person PILD programs.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Get special rates – starting at $236 – in the 2023 PILD Conference block now. Space in the room block is available to registered attendees only.
Register for the conference and book your room early – the PILD special rate will only be available through Friday, March 31, 2023. Reservations made after March 31 will be subject to hotel availability and prevailing rates.

PILD ACTIVITIES
AFTER DARK MONUMENT TOUR
This is an evening, guided bus tour with stops at several key monuments in Washington, DC. Tickets ($45) can be purchased when registering.
BICYCLE MONUMENT TOUR
Join your colleagues on a bike tour of the monuments! The ride will begin/end at the hotel and be mostly on bike paths but may include short distances in bike lanes. Participants should be comfortable riding a bike for a distance of 11-12 miles at a recreational pace. We will ride across the Arlington Bridge and visit many of the most popular monuments including the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Korean War Veterans, Vietnam War Veterans, World War II, Washington, Jefferson, and Roosevelt, with time to walk around and through the monuments. The registration fee includes bike and helmet rental and a bottle of water. Specific route and monuments subject to change. The tour does not include a professional guide of the monuments. Tickets ($45) can be purchased when registering.
