Call For Proposals

2027 Extension Leadership Conference (ELC)

Theme: 

Forward Together: Leading with Purpose, Action, and Impact

Due Monday, November 2, 2026 

Presentation Formats
Choose one of the following formats when submitting your proposal:

1. Skill-Building Sessions – 25-minute sessions designed to teach practical leadership tips and tools. Present for 20 minutes and allow 5 minutes for questions.

2. Training Workshops – 50-minute sessions, either demonstration or participatory “how-to.” Present for 40–45 minutes with 5–10 minutes reserved for questions.

3. Poster Presentations – Posters (maximum size: 3’ tall x 4’ wide) will be displayed in a general viewing area. Presenters will have 60 minutes designated for discussion with attendees. Proposals should describe both content and why it is well-suited for a poster format.

All proposals will be peer-reviewed by the ELC Abstract Review Committee using the following criteria:

Proposal Review Criteria (20 points each)

• Clear outcome-based learning objectives and leadership skills addressed

• Hands-on activities or interactive components

• Relevance to current leadership development needs

• Innovation and uniqueness of the proposal

• Alignment with the conference theme

Please prepare your proposal in a Word document before copying the information into the Oxford Abstracts system.
